Seeking a specialized educator with expertise in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) instruction through telehealth services. This contract position focuses on supporting a student who requires access to a DHH professional during the midday hours from 12:28 PM to 1:15 PM daily. The role involves delivering targeted, high-quality educational support in a school setting located in South Haven, MI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional support to a student with hearing loss via telehealth.
• Utilize the voco toolkit iPad to facilitate communication and learning.
• Collaborate to break up the students day, ensuring consistent engagement and access to DHH services.
• Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with the educational team involved in the students success.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote instructional methods.
• Knowledge of assistive technologies including the voco toolkit.
