Virtual Teach of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - ME
This role involves providing specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing through telehealth services within an educational setting. The position is based in South Portland, ME, and operates under a contract arrangement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering tailored educational services to students with hearing impairments using telehealth platforms
- Collaborating with families, educators, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly
- Providing consultative support on communication and accessibility needs
- Maintaining detailed records and reports on student performance and service delivery
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
