Were currently hiring a Remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support K12 students across Washington state. This position is ideal for a dedicated educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality instruction through virtual platforms.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual instruction and support to students with hearing impairments

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to implement IEPs

  • Offer consultation to staff on accommodations and effective communication strategies

  • Track student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Deaf Education or a related field

  • Valid Washington teaching certification with DHH endorsement

  • Previous experience working with students in a school-based setting

  • Comfortable using virtual platforms and technology for instruction
