An opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing specializing in telehealth services. This role supports students with hearing impairments by providing specialized instruction through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and meaningful educational experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering telehealth-based educational services tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Developing individualized learning plans and adapting curriculum for auditory and communication challenges
- Collaborating remotely with educators, families, and related service providers to support student progress
- Monitoring and documenting student growth, adjusting strategies as necessary
- Utilizing assistive technology and telecommunication tools effectively to enhance learning outcomes
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing
