A school in Cambridge, MA is seeking a qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments. This full-time contract position involves delivering typical TVI duties onsite, supporting one schools caseload.

Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized instruction to students with visual impairments
Conduct assessments and develop tailored educational plans
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
Utilize specialized techniques and materials appropriate for visually impaired learners

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) licensure
Experience working as a TVI in a school setting
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
