Teacher for the Visually Impaired | Laurel, Montana
Seeking an experienced Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support students in a school setting located in Laurel, Montana. This full-time contract position offers 25-30 hours per week, providing a blend of 1:1 and group instructional opportunities tailored to meet the needs of visually impaired students.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialized instruction to students with visual impairments using both individual and group teaching methods
- Managing student cases effectively, including maintaining detailed progress reports
- Utilizing Braille instructional skills to enhance students learning experiences
- Collaborating with school staff and families to support student success and inclusion
- Adapting educational materials and strategies to accommodate diverse visual abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or experience as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
