Remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) | Ohio

Opportunity available for a full-time Teachers for the Visually Impaired position, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade via telehealth. This role focuses on providing specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students to enhance their educational experience.

Location:

• Based in Hilliard, OH

Qualifications:

• Valid Intervention Specialist License required
• Experience working with visually impaired students preferred
• Strong knowledge of telehealth instructional methods
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of visually impaired students across K-12 grade levels
• Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct remote teaching sessions effectively
• Collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to ensure cohesive support for students
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and school requirements
