Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) - New York

A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide telehealth services within a school district in Liverpool, NY. This contract position spans from December through June and involves supporting students with visual impairments district-wide. Deliver tailored instruction and accommodations to enhance educational access and achievement for visually impaired students across multiple grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments via telehealth platforms.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to modify curricula and materials to meet individual student needs.
• Manage a caseload of visually impaired students across various grade levels throughout the district.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of services and accommodations.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) is required.
• Experience delivering instruction using telehealth or virtual methods preferred.

Schedule & Location:
