Virtual Teacher of Visually Impaired in KY

Position involves providing specialized telehealth instruction for students with visual impairments, delivering tailored support in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). This role requires flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to meeting direct instruction and service delivery needs through virtual platforms.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering approximately 12 hours per month of direct instruction, adapting to monthly variations ranging from 3 to 6 hours based on school session lengths.
• Completing 4 hours monthly for data management, graphing, and ARC preparation to ensure accurate progress tracking.
• Conducting evaluations around 3 hours per month, timed according to student assessment schedules.
• Compensating for missed service minutes from August and September by adding approximately 5 service hours monthly.
• Collaborating virtually with educational and support staff to support student learning goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification and experience as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired.
• Proficiency in delivering telehealth services and remote instructional techniques.
• Understanding of IEP requirements and special education regulations.
• Strong data management and evaluation skills.
• Ability to manage fluctuating weekly workloads and maintain effective communication with educational teams.
