Skilled Nursing Facility Occupational Therapist | Worcester, Massachusetts

A contracted position is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings, located in Worcester, MA. This role supports elementary and middle school-aged children (Kindergarten through 8th grade), focusing on therapy services that enhance their educational experience and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students occupational therapy needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Maintain detailed progress notes and prepare required reports.
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student success.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students, providing direct therapy services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with school-based therapy experience.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and educational documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with children in K-8 settings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Capacity to work four days per week, from 8:20 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.
