SLP in Augusta, ME
Located in Augusta, ME, this part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity offers the chance to provide impactful support to a high school student aged 1 to 15 years. This contract position is designed to deliver comprehensive speech therapy services within an educational setting throughout the current school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing 1:1 support through direct speech-language therapy services tailored to the student's individual needs
- Managing the students speech therapy case, including thorough documentation and progress monitoring
- Consulting with educators, families, and other professionals to optimize communication outcomes
- Implementing prompt, evidence-based interventions aligned with the student's goals
- Maintaining compliance with all state licensing requirements and best clinical practices
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Maine
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred
- Experience working with school-age children and adolescents
- Demonstrated ability to deliver individualized case management and therapy services in an educational environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
