School-Based SLP | Brockton, Massachusetts

Opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school in Brockton, MA in an 8-week leave contract role from February 23rd to April 17th. This position focuses on working with pre-kindergarten through 1st-grade students, primarily delivering direct therapy, attending meetings, and completing progress reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and small group speech-language therapy services to students in grades Pre-K through 1st.
• Conduct assessments and prepare progress reports.
• Participate in team meetings to collaborate on student progress.
• Work closely with 8 students using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, requiring specialized experience and proficiency.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP - CCC preferred).
• Experience working in school settings as an SLP.
• Demonstrated expertise with AAC device intervention and therapy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to maintain thorough documentation and engage with educational teams.

Location:

• Elementary school setting in Brockton, MA.
