School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Burnsville, Minnesota
A mid-sized school in Burnsville, MN is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity offers a rewarding environment working with middle school students (grades 6-8), providing essential speech and language services to support approximately 35 students. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a contract running from ASAP through April 24, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in grades 6 through 8.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet student needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide speech-language programs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in school settings providing services to students with speech and language challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
