Speech and Language Pathologist - Cambridge, MA
A one-of-a-kind opportunity to provide specialized speech-language therapy in an elementary school setting is available in Cambridge, MA. This leave contract spans eight weeks, from February 23rd to April 17th, serving preschool through 1st-grade students. The role emphasizes direct therapy, active participation in meetings, and preparation of progress reports.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy to young learners.
- Collaborating with educators and staff in meetings to support student progress.
- Documenting and maintaining detailed progress reports.
- Supporting eight students who use AAC devices, requiring demonstrated expertise in augmentative and alternative communication.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with early childhood or elementary-aged students.
- Strong proficiency with AAC technology and interventions.
