Speech Language Pathologist in Dearborn, MI
A K-12 school in Dearborn, MI is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for the current school year. This contract role offers a structured schedule working 24 hours per week over 3 days, supporting an active caseload of approximately 40 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. The position is available to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions to students K-12.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary strategies to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required.
- Candidates may be eligible if currently completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience working within school settings and knowledge of K-12 student populations preferred.
