SLP in Dearborn, MI
A contract position is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school setting in Dearborn, MI. This full-time opportunity runs from ASAP through March to cover maternity leave, serving approximately 40 students with diverse communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapy for students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan SLP certification.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with pediatric caseloads.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:10 PM full time.
