A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a high-needs K-12 school located in Fountain, CO. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive speech and language services throughout the school year, supporting students with diverse communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with educational standards and student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to enhance student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student intervention plans
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in educational settings, preferably in schools serving high-needs populations
- Knowledge of K-12 speech-language pathology practices
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and prioritize student needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and educators
