School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Grass Valley, California
Located in Grass Valley, CA, this contract opportunity seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services in a school setting. The role focuses on evaluating and treating students with speech and language disorders, supporting their communication development through evidence-based practices and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions aiming to achieve defined speech and language goals
- Monitor, document, and track student progress accurately and consistently
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, therapists, and administrators to coordinate care
- Educate and engage families to support therapy goals and involve them in the intervention process
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in the respective state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
