School Speech Therapist | Minneapolis, Minnesota
A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available in Minneapolis, MN, for a contract role starting ASAP through 4/24/2026. This full-time opportunity involves providing speech and language services to approximately 35 students in grades 6 through 8. The position requires a certified speech-language pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support the communication needs of middle school students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in grades 6-8
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
- Support students in developing effective communication skills to enhance academic success
Qualifications:
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Ability to engage and motivate middle school students (grades 6-8)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to student-centered care and collaboration with educational teams
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Contract Duration: Immediate start through April 24, 2026
Student Population: Approximately 35 middle school students
