Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Norristown, PA
A specialized opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve a high school setting in Norristown, PA. This contract role provides a chance to work closely with adolescent students in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Position Highlights:
- Work with high school students exclusively at a single location
- Manage a low caseload of approximately 20-25 students, focusing primarily on evaluations and consultative support within general education
- Conduct around 15 evaluations for students currently without documented classifications
- Collaborate extensively with the lead SLP to ensure cohesive service delivery
- Flexible schedule with two days per week commitment; workload may vary week-to-week based on program needs and caseload fluctuations
- Immediate start with assignment continuing through the end of the school year
Required Skills and Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP credential
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school and healthcare settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy services and clinical fellowship year (CFY) preferred
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and consultative abilities
- Ability to engage and support students primarily in a general education context
