Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Opening in Virginia (30 hours/wk)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services for students in Virginia. This role supports learners ages 522, all of whom have a diagnosed autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The SLP will focus on helping students build communication, social, and functional language skills while collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual direct therapy services tailored to students with ASD

• Address a range of communication needs, including expressive/receptive language, articulation, social communication, and pragmatic skills

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

• Conduct evaluations and progress monitoring to track student growth

• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

• Offer consultation to teachers and families on communication strategies and supports

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Virginia SLP license (ASHA CCCs preferred)

• Prior experience working with students with ASD, preferably across a wide age range

• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices for autism-related communication needs

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a virtual environment

• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace

What to Expect:

• 30 hours per week, scheduled between 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

• Serve a diverse group of students ages 522, all with ASD diagnoses

• Fully remote position with access to district support teams
