REMOTE Speech Language Pathologist - Virginia School District Hiring

Position Overview:
A Virginia educational program is seeking a dedicated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to students ages 522, all with varying levels of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role focuses on delivering individualized therapy, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting communication growth in a virtual learning environment. The ideal candidate is experienced with neurodiverse learners and comfortable managing a structured teletherapy schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations.

• Develop and implement IEP goals focused on communication, social pragmatics, and functional language.

• Provide direct therapy sessions tailored to students with ASD, using evidence-based practices.

• Collaborate with teachers, behavior specialists, and families to support generalization of skills.

• Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and progress reporting.

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to Virginia state guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

• Active Virginia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).

• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder strongly preferred.

• Prior teletherapy experience a plus, but not required.

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Position Details:

• 30 hours per week

• 8:00 AM 4:00 PM EST schedule

• 1099 contract (weekly pay available)

• Fully remote with provided teletherapy platform/support
