Virtual School-Based Speech Therapy - Louisiana
A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy and school-based services. This position involves providing speech-language support to elementary and intermediate students in a school setting located in Coushatta, LA.
Responsibilities include conducting teletherapy sessions, managing a caseload averaging 50-60 students, and collaborating with school staff to support student communication goals. A facilitator is provided to assist students with transportation to and from the speech therapy room, allowing for a focus on delivering direct services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in teletherapy and delivering speech services within educational settings
- Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with elementary and intermediate student needs
Work Schedule and Location:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Located in Coushatta, LA
- Services provided primarily via telespeech to elementary and intermediate school students
