Speech Therapist Empower Communication in Children
In this position, you will manage a diverse caseload of students with varying speech and language needs. Youll collaborate with special education and general education teachers to design and implement interventions that are integrated into daily classroom activities, ensuring students receive consistent support throughout the school day.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
- Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current WisconsinSLP license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted

The school-based SLP will conduct formal and informal assessments to identify students with communication disorders, develop IEP goals, and provide therapy that aligns with educational objectives. Youll also facilitate communication between families and school staff to ensure a coordinated approach to student success.
