Teletherapy Speech Therapy in School Setting - Michigan
Seeking qualified Speech Language Pathologists for full-time or part-time contract positions located in Detroit, MI. These roles offer a hybrid work schedule with four days onsite and one day remote, totaling 35 hours per week at 7 hours per day. Eligible candidates will have experience working within K-12 educational settings, with a primary focus on elementary students and evaluation team involvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience with telespeech services is preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of 50-60 students
- Familiarity with assessment and intervention strategies across the K-12 student population
- Strong communication and collaborative skills essential for working with school teams and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Manage caseload efficiently, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Utilize telespeech methods as appropriate to support student communication goals
