Virtual School SLP | Louisiana
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a K-12 educational setting. This role supports students across all grade levels, providing remote therapy sessions designed to improve communication skills and academic performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering teletherapy speech and language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring student progress.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate speech goals into classroom activities.
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with educational and healthcare regulations.
- Engaging effectively with students and families to promote positive communication outcomes.
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license meeting state requirements.
- Experience providing speech therapy services in a K-12 school environment, preferably via telepractice.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders within the pediatric population.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt therapeutic techniques for virtual delivery.
Location: Lake Providence, Louisiana all services performed remotely through telespeech technology.
