Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language services to approximately 50 students across K-12, primarily at the high school level
- Utilizing telespeech methods as appropriate to enhance student support
- Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitoring and documenting student progress to meet therapeutic goals
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Current teaching certification in speech pathology applicable within the school system
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings, preferably with a focus on high school students
- Proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy service delivery methods
- Strong understanding of educational speech therapy protocols and documentation requirements
