Virtual School-Based Speech Therapy | Arizona
A speech-language pathologist specializing in school-based teletherapy is sought for a leave coverage contract at a K-12 educational institution in Sahuarita, AZ. This position entails providing remote speech and language services to students and requires expertise in telepractice and knowledge of school speech-language pathology protocols.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy sessions via teletherapy platforms to K-12 students
- Collaborating with educators and school staff to support student communication goals
- Conducting assessments and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs while adjusting approaches as necessary for virtual delivery
- Communicating progress and recommendations to parents and school personnel
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience providing speech-language services in a school setting, preferably K-12
- Demonstrated proficiency with telespeech and teletherapy tools and methods
- Current state licensure relevant to school speech pathology services
- Ability to manage caseload remotely while maintaining effective communication with school teams
