SLP Remote in CA
A contract position is available to provide speech-language services in a K-12 school setting in San Mateo, CA. This role primarily supports students through telespeech and teletherapy modalities, focusing on a diverse caseload across kindergarten to 12th grade. Services are scheduled for 5-10 hours per week, beginning immediately and concluding on June 4th.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language pathology services via teletherapy and in-person sessions as needed
- Collaborating with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support student progress
- Managing a case load across K-12 grade levels, aligning interventions with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining appropriate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies
- Communicating effectively with educators and families to support student development
Qualifications include:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience providing speech therapy services in school settings, preferably in K-12
- Proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy delivery methods
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently within a limited weekly schedule
- Skilled in collaborating with SLPAs and school personnel
