A short-term opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide virtual or onsite therapy services for a K-12 student population in Troy, TX. This contract role supports students by delivering speech therapy during an unexpected medical leave, serving approximately 100-110 students over a 4-6 week period.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting therapy sessions focused on individual student needs
- Collaborating with educational staff to align therapy goals with student development
- Utilizing teletherapy platforms effectively, if working virtually
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes
- Adhering to all licensure and school policies
Qualifications and skills sought:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license
- Experience working in school settings
- Teletherapy experience preferred but not required
- Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Schedule details:
- Full-time, 5 days per week
- Immediate start date, with assignment lasting 4 to 6 weeks
