Remote Speech Therapy in VA
A telepractice Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide remote speech therapy services for K-12 students within a school setting. This contract role involves delivering individualized assessments and interventions to support speech and language development through virtual platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations virtually for students across grades K-12
- Develop and implement evidence-based telepractice therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators and caregivers to monitor progress and adjust treatment goals as necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes in compliance with educational and professional standards
- Utilize digital tools effectively to engage students and facilitate communication skills remotely
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license eligible for practice or current in the relevant state
- Demonstrated experience in teletherapy, particularly within K-12 educational settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders common among school-aged children
- Familiarity with virtual treatment platforms and technology used in telespeech services
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to support remote service delivery
