Online Special Education Teacher in MI
A full-time special education teaching position is available for early childhood education via telehealth, focused on K-2nd grade students. Responsibilities include supporting case management for three adult education learners and crafting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for young students. This role requires adherence to compliance standards and excellence in delivering specialized instruction suited to diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide special education services to early childhood and K-2nd grade students.
- Support case management duties within adult education programs.
- Develop and maintain detailed IEPs in accordance with Michigan state guidelines.
- Deliver instruction and support through telehealth platforms.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Michigan teaching licensure in Special Education.
- Early Childhood Special Education endorsement (ECSC) is mandatory.
- Experience with IEP development for early childhood and elementary grades.
- Familiarity with telehealth delivery methods.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- CPR certification is required.

Contract Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (up to $35.50 per hour)
