Online Special Education Teacher in MI

A full-time special education teaching opportunity is available, focusing on early childhood education and telehealth services. This role supports students from early childhood through 2nd grade, including responsibilities in adult education and case management support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering specialized instruction tailored to the needs of early childhood students through telehealth platforms
• Writing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in grades K-2
• Supporting adult education initiatives alongside case management duties
• Collaborating with educational teams to ensure compliance with special education standards and student progress

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan teaching licensure with an Early Childhood Special Education Certificate (ECSC) endorsement
• Experience in special education, particularly within early childhood and K-2 settings
• Ability to provide telehealth instruction effectively
• Strong skills in IEP development and implementation
• Competency in supporting adult learners and working alongside case managers

Work schedule:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
