DHH Teacher | Peyton, Colorado
A full-time or part-time teaching opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Peyton, CO. This contract position is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) license for the state of Colorado
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Provide direct instruction and support tailored to the auditory and communication needs of students
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive support
- Utilize appropriate technology and resources to enhance learning and communication
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with families
