About VocoVision:
VocoVision is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to provide remote services to K-12 students in Dayton, Ohio. In this role, you will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), providing tailored instruction to help students with diverse learning needs thrive in a virtual classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with varying disabilities and learning challenges.
• Develop and implement IEPs that meet each students unique academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other school teams to track student progress and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Participate in IEP meetings to ensure that the necessary accommodations and support are in place for each student.
• Assist general education teachers in creating an inclusive classroom that accommodates students with special needs.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Ohios special education guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio certification in Special Education.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in a special education setting (teletherapy experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of virtual teaching platforms and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with students and school teams remotely.
• A reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
