A school in Camilla, GA, is seeking a qualified professional to provide specialized education services for students who are visually impaired. This contract position supports K-12 students throughout the academic year, from July 31 through May 23, with approximately 17 hours of work spread over 3-4 days per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and consultative services to students who are visually impaired.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 7-8 students, tailoring educational strategies to meet their unique needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and school staff to ensure effective implementation of individualized education plans.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports on student development.
- Offer guidance and support to educational teams regarding accessibility and adaptive technologies.
