SLP Responsibilities: As a Virtual School-Based Speech Language Pathologist, your role will include:
- Conducting virtual assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Developing personalized treatment plans and goals for each student's unique needs.
- Providing engaging and effective virtual speech therapy sessions to students.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication development.
- Maintaining accurate records and progress reports.
SLP Requirements: To excel in this position, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Wisconsin state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Previous experience in school-based settings or teletherapy is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in teletherapy technology.
