Remote Audiologist in TX
A contract opportunity is available for a full-time Audiologist to provide services in a school setting for students from Pre-K through 8th grade. This role offers flexibility with options for virtual telehealth sessions or onsite work in Cibolo, TX. Standard school hours are from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities include conducting hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing and balance disorders, and developing individualized treatment plans. The Audiologist will collaborate professionally with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student communication and learning needs. Maintaining accurate records and managing audiological equipment are essential aspects of the position.
Qualifications include:
- Valid and current Audiologist license, which must be submitted at the time of application
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within Pre-K through 8th grade age groups
- Strong knowledge of telehealth service delivery and standard audiologic evaluation techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational staff
