Remote Audiologist in NM
A position is available for a licensed Audiologist specializing in telehealth services within a school setting located in White Rock, NM. This contract role involves delivering essential support to students through a combination of direct therapy, case management, and active participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing approximately 8 hours per month of direct audiological therapy to students
- Managing caseload effectively, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Collaborating regularly with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams during IEP meetings
- Completing paperwork and maintaining records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Utilizing telehealth platforms to support service delivery and student engagement
Qualifications and experience:
- Current certification to practice audiology in the state of New Mexico is mandatory
- Proven experience or training in telehealth service delivery within educational settings preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing case files and documentation
- Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Knowledge of IEP processes and educational audiology best practices
