A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available within a dynamic K-8 educational setting, primarily focused on grades K-3. This role is based in Central Falls, RI, and requires onsite presence with a collaborative team structure that includes behavioral specialists, social workers, and educators.

Typical working hours are from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, extending to 4:45 PM on Wednesdays to accommodate full team meetings. Flexibility to adjust start or end times by 30 minutes as needed is appreciated. The caseload is shared among professionals and is designed to be adaptable, fostering a cooperative approach to student support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to the needs of students.
  • Collaborate closely with behavioral specialists, social workers, and educators to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Utilize data collection and analysis to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
  • Contribute to establishing and refining behavior support systems within the school, supporting a first-time BCBA role.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in special education, school psychology, social work, counseling, applied behavior analysis, or a related field is preferred.
  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to partner effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly with schedules and caseloads.

This position is intended to be a permanent placement, with immediate availability preferred. The interview process includes a virtual initial meeting followed by an in-person second interview.
