Online Behavior Specialist - MD

A Behavior Specialist is sought to deliver telehealth services supporting K-12 students in a school setting within Baltimore, MD. This contract role focuses on implementing behavioral interventions and strategies remotely to assist students in achieving improved educational and social outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) via telehealth platforms.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other support staff to develop individualized behavior support strategies.
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed to promote positive behavior changes.
• Providing consultation and training to school staff on behavior management techniques.
• Documenting services rendered and maintaining compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Proven expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or related behavioral sciences with experience in telehealth delivery.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based behavioral strategies for school-aged children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students remotely and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt behavior plans to telehealth formats and troubleshoot technology challenges.
• Relevant licensure or certification (e.g., BCBA) strongly preferred.
