Virtual School Counselor - TX

A part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) position is available to provide telehealth counseling services for a school setting in Angleton, TX. This role requires a valid Texas LPC license and involves working two days per week to support student mental health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver telehealth counseling services to students, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress toward goals
• Collaborate with school staff and families to address student needs and coordinate care
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary

Qualifications:

• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Texas is mandatory
• Proven experience in school counseling or related mental health settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and families via telehealth platforms
• Ability to manage caseloads independently while working remotely
• Familiarity with school systems and adolescent development highly beneficial
