Virtual School Counselor - TX
A part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) position is available to provide telehealth counseling services for a school setting in Angleton, TX. This role requires a valid Texas LPC license and involves working two days per week to support student mental health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver telehealth counseling services to students, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress toward goals
- Collaborate with school staff and families to address student needs and coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary
Qualifications:
- Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Texas is mandatory
- Proven experience in school counseling or related mental health settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and families via telehealth platforms
- Ability to manage caseloads independently while working remotely
- Familiarity with school systems and adolescent development highly beneficial

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 2 days per week on a contract basis
