Virtual School Counselor | Arizona

Providing telehealth counseling services within a school environment, this role involves delivering direct, one-on-one support to students focused on their emotional and psychological well-being. The position requires a commitment of 3 hours per month, working closely with two students to address their individual counseling needs.

Location: Mesa, AZ
Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 18, 2027

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with assigned students via telehealth platforms
• Develop tailored intervention strategies to support students' mental health and academic success
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Collaborate with educational staff to align counseling efforts with students' overall educational plans
• Provide crisis intervention and referrals as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant licensure or certification as a school or mental health counselor
• Experience providing telehealth counseling services in a school or educational setting preferred
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent developmental and mental health issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
