Virtual School Counselor in AZ

A position is available for a Counselor providing telehealth services within a school setting in San Tan Valley, AZ. This contract role involves delivering direct counseling support to students in a focused, one-on-one environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual telehealth counseling sessions tailored to student needs
• Managing a caseload of two students, providing consistent support
• Collaborating with school staff to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of all sessions and communications
• Adhering to relevant policies and procedures governing student counseling and telehealth services

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a school counselor, preferably with telehealth counseling expertise
• Strong understanding of counseling techniques suitable for school-aged children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with students
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements
• Flexibility to provide services 3 hours per month as required
