Remote Occupational Therapist in CA

Seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist with Telehealth and School-based OT experience for a contract position in Fremont, CA. This role involves providing therapy services 20-30 hours per week during the first two months of the school year, working closely with a paraeducator to support students individual needs.

Key responsibilities include delivering evidence-based occupational therapy interventions through telehealth and in-person settings, utilizing a well-equipped workstation already set up for seamless service provision. Strong collaboration with educational staff and adherence to school protocols will be essential to support student progress.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license with California school experience
• Proficiency in SEIS (Special Education Information System) is required
• Experience using VOCO is highly preferred, given recent challenges noted with VOCO service delivery
• Proven ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans in a school setting
• Comfortable working within a telehealth framework combined with in-person support
• Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively document and report therapy outcomes
