Virtual Occupational Therapist - OH
Providing specialized occupational therapy services within a school environment, this contract role focuses on delivering targeted support to students enrolled in a unique educational program in Mansfield, OH. The position involves a manageable caseload, emphasizing quality and compliance with individualized education program (IEP) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to two students, including a 10th grader and a newly enrolled kindergartener, with sessions totaling approximately 2 hours monthly.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including therapy notes, progress reports, and IEP compliance tracking.
- Collaborate with school and program personnel to ensure coordinated care and support tailored to each students needs.
- Adapt service delivery as necessary, with on-site service preferred, and potential telehealth options considered based on program guidelines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
- Familiarity with the Jon Peterson Scholarship Program and its service expectations.
- Skilled in delivering both direct and consultative OT services to school-aged children.
- Strong communication skills for coordination with educational staff and families.
- Ability to maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with educational and therapeutic standards.
- Previous experience supporting programs with COTA collaboration is a plus.
