Virtual Occupational Therapist - CA
An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth and teletherapy within a K-12 school setting, primarily serving high school students. This contract role is based in Oro Grande, CA, with an immediate start and offers approximately 12 hours per week throughout the entire school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services through telehealth and teletherapy platforms.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 25 students, focusing mainly on consultative approaches.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support the functional and developmental needs of students.
- Provide tailored interventions to enhance student participation and success in school activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience providing telehealth or teletherapy services, preferably in a school setting.
- Ability to engage with K-12 students, with comfort working primarily with high school populations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and students.
- Capacity to manage caseload efficiently and provide consultative support.
