Teletherapy Occupational Therapist | California
Providing occupational therapy services through telehealth, this contract role supports K-12 students in a school setting. Services are delivered remotely, focusing on teletherapy modalities to address the unique needs of school-age children. The position is part-time with fewer than 20 hours per week, starting in August 2026. Specific workdays and caseload details will be determined as the role progresses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services via telehealth/teletherapy platforms to K-12 students
- Collaborating with school personnel to create individualized plans tailored to student needs
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Adhering to all relevant state and federal guidelines for remote educational therapy provision
Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy, particularly in teletherapy or telehealth settings, is preferred
- Strong communication skills for remote interaction with students and educational teams
- Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently in a virtual format
