Remote Occupational Therapist in CA

A remote opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role requires expertise in telehealth and teletherapy, delivering effective occupational therapy interventions within the educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services via telehealth platforms to K-12 students
• Collaborate with educators and families to support students' individual goals and needs
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions remotely
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and educational standards
• Participate in virtual meetings and consultations as needed to coordinate care

Qualifications:

• Valid California Occupational Therapy License is mandatory
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy services, particularly utilizing telehealth and teletherapy modalities
• Strong communication skills for virtual interaction with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to manage a caseload independently within a remote work structure
• Familiarity with educational systems and K-12 student developmental needs

Schedule and Location:

• Remote position based in California
• 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Shift from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily
